FallRhythm

My submission for GMTK Game Jam 2021. I didn't have time to finish it (I severely underestimated the time it takes to chart songs) so playtime is under a minute and the ending is very jarring, but I feel the actual mechanics work well enough that I still want to upload it. Also the tutorial is bad so I have controls below.

Controls :

While connected you can press d,f,j, or k to hit any of the notes.

You want to hit when the square is in the white squares.

You can press r to restart while the level is going

When the squares get disconnected you need to press d or f for the left notes and j or k for the right ones.

Hitting a grey note will keep you on the same path, while blue notes will alter them.

There are three judgement hit types, indicated by color

1.  Perfect, which is yellow
2. Great, which is green
3. Okay, which is brown

Despite the many limitations I hope you have fun with this, I had a lot of fun making this.

The song I used is called Chartreuse Green from t+Pazolite's album "Without Permission". The song is used legally constraint to the terms on the website http://c-h-s.me/chs0038/#en
