Broken Controller

My submission for the GMTK 2020 game jam. Despite what was recommended, also my first attempt at creating a game.

My interpretation of the "Out of Control" theme was to have all buttons pushed remained pushed for the rest of the level.

The game is aesthetically based on my recollection of a Flash game called "Duck and Hover" (obviously I didn't steal assets, it just inspired the look). The fact I didn't have to animate anything is coincidental I swear.

The game is a platformer by definition but plays out more like a puzzle game, considering the lack of actual platforming controls.

The music was created using the default samples in my copy of Music Maker, I'm not a musician so please bear with the music.

If I don't get to more programming tomorrow I'm sorry for the lack of levels.

I don't expect to get even close to winning, but I'm very glad I got something out there that's somewhat playable, more than I expected for my first attempt.

I hope at least one person enjoys this at least.
